Here is the story about the second SOG recovery in Texas.  Thank you Mudfrog(Glenn). for believing in this project and posting this story.

Congratulations MMACH5! Now for you Southeast Texas Cachers, get out there and have fun. I just found SOG #5014 near Beaumont and it was a nice and easy adventure itself.

This one showed to be out by Sour Lake and I took off about noon today to try for the find. Was about 2 miles from the site when i spotted a man working on his tractor. Got lucky when I stopped and talked to him, as he told me who he thought the property belonged to and where to find the owner. The property owner was very understanding and gave me permission to search the area. Was able to drive the Jeep to within .44 miles of the site, then walked on in to where the SOG was. Lots of palmettos (figured mud and/or swamp was coming but didn't see much) and a few spiders, otherwise an uneventful hike. Ended up spotting the SOG from about 90 feet away. The coordinates were right on the mark.

This was fun and I'm  looking forward to finding another that may happen to land in the area! We'll see how the the returning of the unit and payment goes from here.. Who's next to find!!!

This thing was a little bigger than I thought it would be but still light and easy to handle!
